Colorado - Part 1

As much as I am enjoying what I learn, I have to say that the highpoint was hanging out with Nate the other night and discussing postmodern literary criticism...good friend and good discussion...now, if we only had coffee...

Some thoughts/interestingteaching so far:
(By the way, the conference is on free market small groups--basically, it just menas that we base small groups in the church around people's natural passions and interests.)

Thought: for so long the church hasn't recognized many small groups--ways people connect--in the church. Will recognition affirm their gifts, calling, passion and ministry?

Henry makes the point that real spiritual growth occurs in the context of relationship--where we learn to live out our faith in the context of relationship. Interestingly, he also made the point that discipelship without relationship is unbiblical and impossible...
